Increase your ability to track, observe and find signs of the animals and birds that secretly move about under winter conditions! We'll start off in the classroom with the basic components of tracking, including a study of prints, patterns, gaits, scat, stride and straddle of the families of creatures that leave us signs of their presence, if we are alert and can perceive them quietly roaming our wild lands. We will continue with a field study that will help us use all our senses to become better trackers! Brian has been professionally tracking for over 22 years, and will guide you using his tried and true methods, humor, observational skills and instincts to help you read the tracks and trails of our local wildlife! Please dress appropriately in layers, bring snowshoes, insulated boots, a tape measure, lunch, water, and snacks as well as sense of humor!
