For your kids who love to cook, consider this hands-on summer cooking program that will inspire their culinary creativity. Young chefs will learn the basics in NIC’s Culinary Arts kitchen with local chef Rich Henning, owner of Richeezmo Catering. In this fun, five-day camp, kids will practice essential kitchen skills and the fundamentals of cooking. Students will put their new skills to the test in an exciting mystery ingredient cooking challenge on the last day of camp! Ages 8 to 12.

Outline of Kids Culinary Camp:
Monday, 14 August: 
AppetizersMaple Glazed Doughnuts and Smoothies
Tuesday, 15 August:  Sides or SaladEggs Benedict and Omelet’s
Wednesday, 16 August: EntréeBlack Forest Waffles and Chicken & Waffles
Thursday, 17 August: DessertFunnel Cakes and Baked Banana’s with Huli-Huli Sauce
Friday, 18 August:  Family MealStudents will prepare a meal for parents or visitors.

Please read:  Parents are requested to check-in with students on Monday, 9am and plan to attend a short 15 minute orientation. Monday's camp schedule is 9am to 1pm. Tuesday through Friday schedule is 9am to Noon. Families are welcome to attend camp on Friday from 11 to Noon and sample Culinary Camp creations.
