New Miner Training: Underground Part 48

ClassGraphic This 4-day course will prepare new miners and contractors for safety and health hazards involved in underground mining. Topics include Miners Rights and Responsibilities, Industrial Hygiene, Water Hazards, Explosives, Fall Prevention, First Aid, Respiratory Protection, Powered Haulage Accident Prevention, Sliding Material Hazards, and much more. These courses meet the U.S. Department of Labor-Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) 30 CFR Parts 48 requirements for New Miner Training. Upon successful completion of the course, a 5000-23 Certificate of Training will be issued.
